I sat down and spoke with former 2nd grade teacher Kayla Leonard who talks about her family being a major reason of why she wanted to exit the classroom. She now enjoys a lot more of a work-life balance and is working for a company she is passionate about at the Hope for Justice and Slave-Free Alliance. She has been serving as the Community Outreach & Training Specialist for about a year and a half.
